What we need and expect

This is a really difficult question, why? Because the practice show that there is a big difference between certificates and reality. Secondly, the schooling design in romania differs a lot from the nurse or curator in germany. In the past two years we hired about 15 nurses from romania and until today we can say that we are proud about our nurses. Looking Backward, from the perspective of a romanish nurse, we can say today that the process to understand what we really do in a nursing home needs about 12 to 18 months. During this time, we provide a practice instructor who takes care about you and shows you all the main points. The practice instructors obey a concept that is proved from our quality department. That means that regularly we speak in quality rounds about the processes and check the improvements. It is important to understand that to reach the b2 level means that you are able to get the qualification for a registered german nurse and to obtain with this more money at the end of the month. The reverse side of the coin is that with the beginning of that approvement you will carry more responsibility by writing by your own a documentation about your client and in doing other things than a assistant of a nurse. This means also that essential errors have to be avoided and secondly its important to understand our customers. The conclusion of our expertise shows that the success depends more on the willness to lern the language and to understand that we are not a hospital althought many similar issues are in our nursing homes immanent (like wound management etc.). In germany the expert standards in the careness are essential to understand and to lern, because this norms are quite to be seen as rules that are accepted also from the public authorities. This trend setting expert standards are elaborated on a scientific way in cooperation of the  “Deutsche[s]n Netzwerk(s) für Qualitätsentwicklung in der Pflege (DNQP)” [German Network for Development of Care] , the “Deutschen Pflegerat (DPR)” [The German Quality council] and in cooperation with european partner organizations for network for quality development in care (EuroQUAN). Mostly, nurses from other countries know nothing about this standards, so there is a lot to lern to fulfill our requirements in germany.
